Tantrum
Tantrum is
a group of four dynamic young musicians, who range in ages
from 13 to 15 years old. They are Marvin Doucet (14 years)
on rhythm guitar and back up vocals, Hayden Bristow (13
years) on lead vocals, Evan Clarkson (15 years) on drums
and Adam Fedosoff (14 years) on lead guitar. They met while
taking music lessons and decided to form a tribute band.
Following Adam’s lead, they started playing mostly AC/DC
cover songs.
The name of the band was Adam’s
idea, who found out by reading a booklet in the Bonfire
boxed set that Tantrum was the name of Angus Young’s first
band at the age of nine. They have played in various venues,
such as Kempenfest in Barrie, the Alliston Potato Festival,
Gilda’s Club, the Bradford Carrot Fest and the Alliston
Relay for Life as well as competed in various Battle of
the Bands contests. The boys are often called upon to return
to all of these events by request.
Since their first gig, venues
become packed with AC/DC fans young and old. They have performed
all over Simcoe County at various fairs, fundraisers and
charity events and have even made TV news as well as debuted
in a local magazine, Sideroads. Since Adam’s diagnosis with
leukemia last May the band has taken a year-long sabbatical,
but with Adam feeling better these days the band is back
with a huge sound and a new commitment.
